Shared Project - Missing Files after saving in separate files

I am working in a shared project. A sub diretory in the project had 26 sub-directories that were not in separate files.

In one session I made the first seven (of the 26) save in sepearte files so they could be checked out individually and I checked everything back in.

I another session (today) I made each of the remaining 19 sub-directories a separate file and checked everything back in.

Now other people on the project can see the first 7 sub directories but it says they are checked out to me.

They can no longer see the 19 sub-directories. They receive a message "Warning: the following file(s) referenced by your project were not opened because they could not be found:" folowed by a list of the files and "Would you like to remove these references from your project now"

They have tried 'Get all latest' and even 're-joining the project'

How can I fix this problem?

I'm assuming that when you say "subdirectory" you're referring to a package. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this because it definitely makes a difference.

What version of CaseComplete are you using?

What change control system are you using? the built-in one or something else like Subversion, TFS etc?

Are you able to see the full 26 packages? What icon appears with those packages?

When someone else joins the project, do you see the .ucp files in the working folder that would correspond to the packages?

Any other intervening changes like restoring from a backup?

We may have to set up a web meeting to see exactly whats going on - there's a fair number of moving parts here.

Hi Keith,

your latest posts got mangled somehow and wound up suspended (not sure what's going on there) but it appeared from your most recent post that there are some underlying problems in the source control repository that's used by the shared project addin. My recommendation would be to restore that from a backup, if one is available. The alternative would be to take the best working copy in your team (the one that's the most complete), remove the version control from it via change shared project settings, and then reshare it to a new shared location so the repository gets rebuilt.

Hope this helps, Keith -
