Can we fix nested numbering in Word reports?

We're seeing a problem on our Word reports where the nested numbering is adding extra levels, so it looks like this:

  1.  1.1.1.
        1.1.1.1.1.

Instead of:

  1.  1.1.
        1.1.1.

After digging into the Word templates, there appear to be extra tabs inserted at each level to make the numbers reflect more levels than they should when it's output into Word. In the use case specification template, the code looks like this, and I assume the problem is buried somewhere in that listSteps variable:

Main Success Scenario

  1. $listSteps $Description

Is this on a bug list somewhere to get fixed? Is this the first you're hearing of it? Is it just me? How do we fix this problem?

Hi Ann,

Yeah, this was a bug that's fixed in the current release (I'm guessing that you're using version 2010R2). You can get that latest version by selecting Help / Check for Updates.

I need a little clarification. I do have 2010R2, and when I go to the new version page, it tells me I'm downloading 2010R2. So, when I download the latest version, it will be a later release than 5.2.3884, which is what I have now. Is that correct?

Yes, that's exactly it. The latest build (as of today, 11/18/2010) is 5.2.3972
