Import from a command line

It's great that CC can now generate reports via command line, helps with interoperability with other tools.

What's missing is the reverse: I would like to call CC on the command line, specify a path to a UCD model, and a path to an Excel file, and then have CC open the model, import the Excel file, and save the updated model.

I could use this to

• import glossary data from an external glossary source, every night
• import product-specific requirements fields into a generic multi-product model, in a scripted way
• share and keep synchronized packages between models, by exporting and importing a subset of requirements
