$info for Excel files

It appears that $info can be used in Excel files as well as Word documents.  Is that true?  If so, how are the $info entries created?  Is each item intended to be in a separate cell?  All in the same row?

Am I mis-interpreting something?

Assistance is appreciated!

Yes, $info can appear in an Excel workbook

It must be on the first worksheet in the workbook

Each item must appear on its own row, but can be in any of the first six cells

Check out the excel report templates that are shipped with CaseComplete 2011 for an example.

Ron,

Thanks much for the update/answer.

One more question:  Are parameters supported in Excel files?  If so, how?  My attempts don't seem to be working.

Ciao!

Yes, absolutely.

I've attached what is perhaps the worlds dumbest example of passing parameters to an excel report :)

Will keep trying.  Probably just didn't have the right info in the parameter.

Thanks!!
