Hyperlinks in Word?

We are planning to generate Word reports of use cases for external customers to view (as they may not all have access to CaseComplete). In the default Use Case Specification Word report, references between use cases and other use cases or requirements appear in hyperlink format (blue underlined) as they do in CaseComplete.  However this is only formatting... is there some way to automatically create the links within Word? (linking back to CC won't help as our audience probably won't have it at the time of reading these docs)

Thanks

michele

Hi Michele,

Sorry, that's not supported at this time.  It's something that we hope to support in the future though.

I have created a Word 2003 macro that will do what you ask for; it scans the document for requirements IDs and references to requirements IDs, and will replace the references with hyperlinks. Contact me offline, I can send you the macro.

Well that has made my day!!  Thanks Sonova, would love to contact you but I can't see a way in this zendesk system to PM you.

Could you possibly send it to michele.cross at sandstone.com.au?

Hi Michelle & Sonova. Is that macro something you're able to share with me too? I've been trying to figure it out for weeks with no luck. bhamji.shaleema at healthnow.org. Thank you

Hi Michele,

I mailed you on the 3rd November at your sandstone address.  Did you get the mail?  Perhaps it got lost in your spam filters?

I know this thread is old, but has anyone had success with the referenced macro in Word 2010? I have the macro, but can't get it to work.

Hi all. Is anyone out there still using / have a Word macro to help create hyperlinks in the word documents?
