TFS Test Case Upload

New in CaseComplete 2014, you can upload Test Scenarios into Microsoft's Team Foundation Server. (Don't have a TFS server? Check out Visual Studio Team Services. The first 5 users are free.)

You'll find this functionality on the Connect tab. Go ahead and click on the TFS Tests button:

ConnectTFSTests

You'll be prompted to select the Test Scenarios you'd like to upload:

SelectTestScenarios

Go ahead and select them. By default, the Omit Empty Test Steps checkbox is checked. If you want to upload all test steps, even the ones that have empty procedure/inputs and expected results, uncheck this box. Click Continue when you're ready:

SelectedTestScenarios

You'll then be prompted to select a Team Foundation Server. Do that and then click Connect:

ConnectToTFS

Now you'll be able to create or select a Test Plan that you'll upload your tests to:

CreateTestPlan

CreateTestPlan2

Select your target Test Plan and click Upload:

SelectTestPlan

When the upload completes, click on Go to TFS:

UploadTestScenariosSucceeded

You'll be redirected to your TFS web interface. Click on the TEST menu item to view your uploaded Test Cases:
