Running with a scaled display

If your Windows display settings are set to scale your screen to 125% or greater, you may encounter poor layout of dialogs in CaseComplete (for example overlapping items and blank names in dropdown lists). This may happen when connecting to Azure DevOps which interferes with CaseComplete scaling.

There are two ways to fix this, depending on whether you run Windows 10 or Windows 11.

Windows 10

Exit CaseComplete, then select Advanced scaling settings in Windows Display Settings:

On the resulting dialog, turn off Let Windows try to fix apps, then restart CaseComplete:

Windows 11

Exit CaseComplete. From the Windows start menu:

1 - start typing CaseComplete
2 - when it matches your version of CaseComplete, right click and select Open file location

This will open Windows File Explorer. From there:

1 - right click on your version of CaseComplete
2 - select Properties

From the properties dialog:

1 - select the Compatibility tab
2 - select Change high DPI settings

From the High DPI settings dialog:

1 - Select Override high DPI scaling behavior
2 - Select System for the Scaling performed by option.

Select OK and exit the other dialogs. Restart CaseComplete.
